CHEMISTRY

science-course-teaser-102029467.jpg

YEAR 12 STUDENT

Chemistry is fascinating. I did not realise that it is such an interesting subject at A level. At GCSE level it was quite confusing, but now, it is great to be studying such an exciting and dynamic subject.

WHY STUDY CHEMISTRY?

Chemistry is a very interesting and challenging subject at A Level. The practical aspects of the course make it a lot more exciting and accessible for most students.

Chemistry is an academic subject which prepares students for many undergraduate courses in the sciences, engineering, and many others (see below). The academic and deductive aspects of the course also mean that students who complete A Level chemistry with good grades may be able to pursue courses like law and forensic science. The course is also quite numerate, and students may proceed onto courses in finance and other related courses. There are many opportunities to work and discuss practical work which help students develop team working and presentation skills
