This year’s Science Week went off with a bang!
Our Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils worked hard to produce posters around this year’s theme of ‘Time’. These were displayed in the Science corridor.
Some lucky pupils took part in lunch-time science experiments, where they tested acids and alkalis, set up electrical circuits, and identified chemical compounds. The week culminated in a Skinners’ Science Fair, where pupils presented their science projects to parents, teachers, and their peers. There were many experiments from volcanoes and lava lamps to elephant toothpaste and radioactivity.
All pupils who took part in the Science Fair worked hard to plan, make, and present their projects. The Science Fair was another reminder of how Skinners’ Academy pupils are always striving to be the best they can be.
