Citizens Advice
We are offering free advice appointments fortnightly on a Monday between 9:30am - 12:30pm. To make an appointment with Citizens Advice Hackney, please speak to Miss White for a referral. Alternatively, you can call us directly and leave a voicemail with your contact details: 020 3880 2266.
Citizens Advice helps parents with a huge range of issues, including navigating benefits and money worries (Universal Credit, child benefits, help with bills, debt), family law (separation, divorce, child arrangements), housing problems, education concerns, and employment rights, offering free, confidential advice online, by phone, or in person to help families manage financial stress, legal issues, and daily challenges.

Safety Of Our Children: Translated in Polish. This is an opportunity to engage in discussion and get strategies to assist your child in online safety, AI, substance abuse, safety on the way to/from school.
This workshop will be delivered by EAL teacher. |

Food & Nutrition: Parents can discover nutritious meal ideas and connect with others to discuss the benefits of providing a hot meal. This workshop will be delivered by school nurse. |

Exam Stress: This is an opportunity to engage in discussions with our facilitator about strategies that you can use to help your child through assessments and Exam stress. This workshop will be delivered by Hackney NHS. |

Summer Term Workshops

Recognising concerns regarding young people mental health: This workshop will help raise awareness of young people’s mental health, including early signs and symptoms to look out for. It will also share practical techniques parents can use to support their children and provide guidance on where to access external support services. The workshop will be delivered by the School Counsellor. |
