Skinners' Academy has been notified that Ofsted will be inspecting the school on Tuesday 14 April 2026 and Wednesday 15 April 2026. Parents and carers are invited to share their views via the Ofsted Parent View online form : https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. It reports directly to Parliament and is independent and impartial.

Skinners' Academy was inspected by Ofsted in May 2022 and March 2017 and was judged to be 'good' on both occassions.

Sixth form provision: Good

Quality of education: Good

Pupils are happy in school, safe and ready to learn. Leaders and staff have high expectations for what pupils will achieve. Pupils study a broad curriculum and do well. Across the school, pupils take pride in their work.
