Skinners' Academy Celebrates Best GCSE Results in School History

Skinners' Academy is delighted to celebrate the best GCSE results in the school's history, with students achieving outstanding outcomes across a wide range of subjects and setting new records for academic success.

This year's results represent a remarkable achievement for our Year 11 cohort, with 74% of all grades awarded at Grade 4 or above and an average grade of 5 across all entries. Students also secured a record number of the very highest grades, reflecting both exceptional individual achievement and the strength of teaching and learning across the Academy.

Particularly strong performances were seen in English, Mathematics, the Sciences, History and Business, where students achieved some of the strongest outcomes ever recorded at the school.

These results are the culmination of years of hard work, determination and resilience from our students. Having navigated the challenges and demands of GCSE study, they have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to being the very best they can be.

The success of this year's GCSE cohort builds on the Academy's wider culture of academic excellence and follows a second successive year of exceptional Sixth Form outcomes.

Earlier this summer, Skinners' Academy celebrated another outstanding set of A Level and vocational results, placing the school amongst the top 10% of providers nationally for student progress at Key Stage 5. Sixth Form students also achieved record numbers of A and B grades, enabling many to secure places at leading universities, competitive apprenticeships and other ambitious destinations.

Together, these achievements demonstrate the strength of the educational journey at Skinners' Academy, from Year 7 through to Sixth Form, and reflect the Academy's commitment to ensuring every young person can thrive academically and personally.
