Y13 BTEC Business Students Host Activity Day for Woodberry Down Primary
Back
Our Year 13 BTEC Business students successfully organised and delivered a vibrant activity day for a group of 30 Year 5 pupils from nearby Woodberry Down Primary School.
As part of their event-planning unit, the Y13 students designed a programme that combined physical activity with creativity. The visiting pupils took part in energetic PE sessions featuring badminton and dodgeball, led and supervised by the sixth-form organisers. The fast-paced games proved a hit, with plenty of enthusiasm and teamwork on display.
To balance the action, the Y5 students were also treated to a hands-on art experience. Armed with clay, they explored texture, shape and sculpture.
At the end of the visit, the children provided feedback on what they enjoyed and what could be improved. This feedback will now be analysed by the Y13 cohort and included in their coursework, forming an essential part of their evaluation and reflection for the BTEC Business events unit.
