Farewell to 'Class of 2025'
Back
The Year 11 pastoral are incredibly proud of all our Year 11 pupils for their resilience and determination in navigating some challenging times, such as the pandemic. Despite the difficulties, they have shown great strength to complete their exams and reach this important milestone.
During the last few weeks on site, we’ve shared some memorable moments, including the shirt signing event which was a fantastic way to celebrate their journey together. We also want to thank everyone for the lovely messages, emails from parent/carers and all the lovely gifts, they all truly mean a lot and reflect the supportive community we have here and, built over the years that your child has attended the Academy.
The prom night was a highlight of the year, an evening filled with joy, incredible outfits, laughter and unforgettable memories. Some of the standout moments included the stunning venue, the heartfelt speeches, and everyone’s fantastic dance moves!
Congratulations to our Prom King and Queen; Joshua and Abigail. We also awarded other special and funny recognitions, to celebrate the unique talents and personalities of our students.
The awards went to: • Chanel - Sportiest Girl • Ozora - Most Caring • Keonte - Sportiest Boy • Evelyn-Daisy - Most Musical • Omar - Best Sneeze • Tykwane - Best Facial Expressions These are only to name a few, there will be lots more recognitions in our Year 11 Yearbook, which will be available to collect (if purchased) on results day. It was a truly special evening that marked the end of an era and the beginning of exciting new adventures. We want to wish each pupil the very best of luck with whatever pathways they take and just be the best you can be!
