Prize Giving 2024-2025 Ceremony

Last Thursday, the academy proudly hosted its annual Prize-Giving Ceremony, an evening dedicated to celebrating the achievements and contributions of our pupils over the past academic year. The event brought together students, staff, families, and honoured guests for a memorable occasion that showcased the very best of our school community.

Thanks goes to the members of the Skinners’ Company Court and to our governors, whose continued support and presence helped make the evening especially meaningful.

Equally, we extend our gratitude to the families of all prize-winners. Your encouragement, enthusiasm, and pride filled the hall and created a wonderful atmosphere that made the celebration truly special.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Staff Award, given this year to Mr Mark Burcham, who has served the academy as the Premises Manager with extraordinary dedication for nearly 40 years. His unwavering commitment and kindness have been felt by generations of students and colleagues, and the award is a fitting tribute to his remarkable contribution.

The evening was uplifted by outstanding musical performances from our talented pupils, and as always, our steel band brought fantastic energy.

The ceremony was a powerful reminder of the hard work, talent, and community spirit that define our academy. Congratulations to all prize-winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a success.
